Manage herb and formula stock

Keep a catalogue of herbs and formulas with batches and expiry dates; restock, dispense and adjust, with every movement logged.

Where to find it: Sidebar → Inventory

Open this in the portal →

Steps

  1. Open Inventory in the sidebar.
  2. Choose “Add item” to add an item to the catalogue. Linking it to a formulary entry with “Linked formulary entry” shows its stock in the prescription picker.
  3. When stock arrives, restock it and record the batch reference, “Expiry date” and cost per unit.
  4. Dispense when you hand it out, optionally linked to a patient. The window names the oldest batch and lets you choose one. If that batch holds too little, choose “Split across batches (oldest first)” or “Dispense without a batch”.
  5. Adjust to correct a count. An item's history shows “Batches on hand”, earliest expiry first, with expired batches greyed out, and every movement logged.

Good to know

MyDosha shows the dates; the choice of batch stays with you. Low stock shows as a badge on the sidebar button. Stock can also be dispensed from a patient's Treatment tab.
